Nomination for the 17th International Color Awards
Our passionate colleague Merijn Koelink, one of the finest architectural photographers, has received a fantastic recognition today. His impressive photograph ‘Where light meets dusk’ – created on behalf of our valued client Inlicht Lichtarchitecten – has been nominated in the ‘Architecture’ category at the 17th International Color Awards.
The International Color Awards is a prestigious, globally recognized competition that honors outstanding achievements in color photography. Each year, the competition brings together thousands of submissions from professional photographers and talented amateurs across more than 60 countries. The awards aim to celebrate photography as an art form and to spotlight exceptional talent in various categories, such as architecture, portraiture, nature, and abstract art.
The jury comprises leading professionals and experts from the art and media world, including representatives from renowned institutions such as The J. Paul Getty Museum, The Washington Post, West Water Gallery, MediaMonks, Chung 24 Gallery, Accenture Song, FILA, High Museum of Art, San Antonio Museum of Art, Kunstsammlungen und Museen, Blanton Museum of Art, Museo d’Arte Moderna di Bologna (MAMbo), and Bonham’s Cornette de Saint Cyr Auctions in Brussels. This year, they reviewed 6,373 submissions from 68 countries, awarding 606 title awards and 668 nominations across 37 categories.
This unique gathering of international expertise makes the International Color Awards one of the most esteemed recognitions in the photography industry. This exceptional nomination not only highlights the talent and craftsmanship of our colleague but also showcases the power of collaboration and vision within the architectural and photography fields. We are immensely proud of this achievement.
