Historic living in style: First renovation in Holland’s oldest shopping center
In the oldest shopping center in the Netherlands, a.s.r. Real Estate has achieved a special milestone: the renovation of the first four apartments. This renovation was a major challenge, partly due to the historic nature of the building. For the design, the expertise of Studio id+ was called in, who developed an innovative residential concept that is both modern and functional.
The concept is characterized by a loft-like appearance without corridors, and with smart solutions that give residents the freedom to close off spaces themselves. This flexibility, combined with customization down to the smallest details, ensures that every inch of the homes is optimally utilized. The result: a living environment that exudes allure, without detracting from the building’s rich history.
We had the opportunity to make a testimonial film highlighting the beautiful interior design and the successful collaboration with a.s.r. real estate. The film shows not only the transformation of the homes, but also the story of the people and the vision behind this unique project. An inspiring example of how history and modern living can go hand in hand.
