In Wijk bij Duurstede, Startblock has realized a progressive project: 52 sustainable starter homes on the site of the former stables ‘Het Kleine Ros’. Designed with a sharp focus on circularity and affordability, these homes offer an innovative solution to the housing shortage. With this project, Startblock shows how compact and efficient designs can contribute to qualitative and accessible housing for starters and emergency seekers.
Startblock homes are more than just a place to live. These comfortable, circular, turnkey homes are completely produced at the factory in Emmeloord within six days. They are delivered complete, including kitchen, bathroom, installations and solar panels. Thanks to innovative industrial production methods and the use of electric trucks for transportation, the homes are not only quick to install, but also sustainable in their realization. After just one day on site, the homes are ready for occupancy.
