The importance of a creative workshop
For Maak-Lab in Arnhem, we made a film about their working methods and the significance of this creative workshop for young people. Maak-Lab is a place where children and young people from different backgrounds work together on projects, try out ideas and discover how to develop themselves by doing and creating.
The video features several interviews in which facilitators share their enthusiasm for what makes Maak-Lab so special: an environment in which experimentation, creativity and collaboration are central. By combining these personal stories with vivid images of the workshop and the projects that arise there, the result is a film that is both substantive and inspiring and that highlights the importance of this type of education.
