Econogy: Y-Drive System Demonstration at RDW Test Track in Lelystad
For Econogy, in partnership with RAI Association, we captured the Y-Drive System with a professional film. Leading a consortium with partners including TNO, THT New Cool, V-tron and DLS-Drive Line Systems, Econogy is developing an electric drive system for trailers that converts any fuel truck into a hybrid combination and acts as a range extender for electric trucks.
At the RDW test track in Lelystad, owner Martin explained the technology and benefits, including zero-emission power assist during acceleration, leading to up to 40% fuel savings in urban and regional distribution.
